Mr. President

There will be no other day like the day Jan. 20Th 2009 when the world witness America make history by watching as we got our first ever African-American President. It was such a joy to watch as Barack Hussein Obama became the nation 44Th president. Also Joe Biden will be the Vice President and all the other great people that the president has put on his team. I have some photos that I got off the web just to show what a great feeling it was to watch history in the making.

first boudoir session

Well I wanted to introduce a new idea for me in photography. The boudoir look has been around for years but I wanted to give it a try and see how some of my images turns out. The young lady was so easy to work with. I hope she likes the finish work. I want to do this as an add-on for my wedding packages for brides to give to the grom on the day of the wedding, or for the ladies who husbands are in the military now and they want to give him a sexy gift when he returns home.

A New Year!

I have been taken time of so I can spent time with family for the holidays, but now it is back to work. I did take so photo while I was off and I will be posting really soon. One of which is my first boudoir session. It was alot of fun and hope to book more in the future.

CD cover

I meet this really nice man about a month ago when I took my daughter to the doctor. Well we started to talk and I told him I was a photography and he mention to me that he needed some photos for his CD. Well he finally called me and we setup the date and here are the result of that session. He did get a chance to view the images but I hope he like the touch ups that I added to the images to give them a cool look.

I have been keeping myself busy and haven't had time to blog, but I decide to share some of my christmas shopping. All my purchases are to help my business grow more and more. I got myself a new camera, and a laptop. The 3rd item I could not help it since I love to scrapbook these little gadget will be laods of fun for me.

President-Elect Barack Obama

On Nov. 4th history was made in this country. When Americans step up to the polls and made the decision to elect the country first ever Africa-American President. It took me so long to write this blog because I haven't come down off my high as of yet. It make me feel so proud that after 45 years after Martin Luther King made his famous I have a dream speach that people choose to judge a man based on his character and not the color of his skin. On Nov. 4th we showed the world what great things we could do as a country. I'm proud to be alive to see history been made.

God has truly blessed America.

Anniversary

I had the pleasure of taking photos for the Ware Anniversary. They have only been married for one year, but they wanted to renew their vows. I had a good time and it was vey low key. Here are some of my fav's from the night.

County Fair

I have been so busy that I haven't been good at updating my blog. I have been getting stuff together for my business and making contacts and getting more customers. Myself, daughter, and my mother went to the county fair over the past weekend. It was a really beautiful day outside and we enjoyed it.

New Beginnings....

Well after 8 years of working at my job I decided to make a move and get more involved with what I know how to do and where my hearts is at. I will be working for a studio doing school portraits as well as keeping my freelance gig. I feel like it is time for me to get out and do the things that make me happy and not be afraid to take a chance in life. I know if it's God's will then everything will be just find. I'm looking forward to starting something different in my life.

I have been busy

I have been so busy that I haven't had the time to update my blog. Evey week I have been taking a picture, trying to get some work done, or rest from the work week. I have also decided that I need t make a chance so I have been seeking employment else where beside working at the newspaper. I went in for a job interview with one the the nation largest portrait studios, lifetouch. The company does all of the school in the chicagoland area and burbs. I really want a change in my life and sitting behind a desk for the rest of it will not do for me. I have been in the same position for 8 years with no growth. It's time I start to look out for me.

Best Concert Ever!!

I had the chance of a lifetime when I was a winner of the US99 radio station meet and greet with Luke Bryan and I was his offical photographer for the show. I'm not sure how the pictures turned out yet because the record company provided me with the camera. The main act was Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney and it was the best damn show ever. The other acts were Leann Rimes, Garry Allen, and of couse Luke Bryan. I had so much as you can see in the photos
