My daugther maya who is 14 was in her first pageant on sat aug 25. She didn't make the semi but I'm proud of her even making it that far. Over 750 girls tryout and she made it and that is something to be proud of. I very happy for her.

My daugther, the Pageant Contestant

My daugther has been chosen to be a contestant in a beauty pageant for the Jr. Teen Divison of the Chicago Pageant. It is alot of work to do to be in a pageant and she must have sponsor in order to be in the pageant. So far she has raised $260 and she needs to have a total of $495. I think it may happen I'm going to stay prayful.

Tryin to run a business

i have been so busy trying to run a business and two of them ato that. The photography is something that I have been at for some time now and it doesn't seem to be working out for me. It is hard trying to find clients that want to pay for my service. so I got involve with a direct selling business selling sterling siver jewelry. I really like that alot and I need to work that a little more and get more customers for that. It is really hard to try to do everything on my own and take care of all the bills, but I'm doing the best I can.

Mother's Day Photo Session

This past mother's day was a busy one for me. I held photo session at my church and it was very successful. The pict is just some of the photos that I took. Hopefully I can do the same thing for Father's Day.

New business venture

Well I have started a new business for myself. I'm now an Indep. Rep for a company called Silpada. It sells nothing but fine sterling silver jewelry. The game plan is for me to have parties , earn extra money, and win some great trips. Hopefully it works it self out

Crazy busy!

I have been so busy that I made a promise to myself to keep up with my blog here. Well i have been so busy that I can't even stay up past 10pm some nights. My daugther has turned 14 and she is driving me crazy with all her hormonal attitude. I was very busy with trying to find myself another job, place to live, making extra money, pay off some bills. I did work for mother's day and made an extra $600 bucks which was cool. I had a photo shoot at my church and it went better than I expected. I will post some my favorite images later.

new logo design.

I have designed a new logo to be used in my business and for now on it will appear on everything that from marketing material and business card and the bottom of picts on the web. I created it in the photoshop and the butterfly is a very person thing for me.

Winter Storm!!

Well it's finally here winter has arrived in Chicago. In Dec the temps were in the 40's and 50's so now winter has come back in a big way. Check out the pict below it was shoot from my car.

Well the bears didn't win the super bowl, but it was still a good game. Both teams came to win but in the end the Colts wanted it more. Therefore they were the ones who won. Thanks for the memories and I still love the CHICAGO BEARS and I do have the WHITE SOX.

Bears going to the Super Bowl!!

I'm so happy that the bears are going to the superbowl. It has been long time coimg and I can't wait for the big game on Feb 4th. It will be a great game and it is two midwest that will be in the game. Here is the offical logo of the NFC champs.

Beside taking pictures and enjoying that alot I also do alot of scrapbooking and that is something that has taking over my life in the past year. I really enjoy it, so much that I have become a MW (memory-works) Consultant. it is alot of fun to share a hobby with so many people out in the world and how doing this can bring strangers together. I was so excited today to meet two of the best photographers in the world. Eddie Tapp and Monte Zucker were the nicest men that I have meet in this business. I learned so much today that I know I will take everything that I learned I will keep with me. Thanks Eddie and Monte.

Family Portrait Month

Time in the Country

This pass weekend my daughter and I was invited to a co-worker of mines house for a party for her and her's twins birthday. My daughter really likes to go there because there are horses for her to feed and ride. She really like the country life. Myself I don't mine visiting, but I will stick with the city. Here are some of the photos from our time there.

Never Forget!

Today is a day that will live on in our life's forever. On Sept. 11, 2001 the world was change forever by a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in NYC. It is estimate that over 3,000 people lost their life. I was schedule to go to NY in Nov. for a photographer convention. The Photo Plus Expo takes place ever year there. I went to NY that year because I refuse to allow these cowards to stop me from going. Five years later we are still at war and I still don't feel all that much safer.
